Privacy Policy
Life's Abundance, Inc. ("Life's Abundance," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, when and with whom we share it, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to lifesabundance.com and our related websites, our customer service operations, and our Field Representative systems (collectively, the "Services").
This Policy replaces and consolidates our prior Privacy Policy and our separate California Consumer Privacy Act notice into a single document. If you are a resident of a U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law, please also review the "Your State Privacy Rights" section below.
By using our website and placing orders, you acknowledge and agree to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1Who we are
Life's Abundance, Inc. is a 100% employee-owned (ESOP) Florida corporation headquartered at 101 Capital St., Jupiter, FL 33458. We are a direct-to-consumer company selling premium pet food, pet and human supplements, skincare and clean-beauty products, and eco-friendly cleaning products. We sell directly to consumers through our website and through a network of independent Field Representatives.
2Scope: United States only
Life's Abundance sells, ships, and provides its products and Services only within the United States, including U.S. territories and Puerto Rico. We do not sell to, ship to, or knowingly collect personal information from individuals outside the United States. This Policy is written for U.S. residents, and we do not offer the rights or notices required by the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation or other non-U.S. privacy laws.
3A note on our business model and Field Representatives
As a direct sales company, we work with independent Field Representatives who operate their own replicated websites and sponsor customers. How your information flows depends on how you came to us. We think this distinction is a genuine privacy strength, so we want to be transparent about it:
- If you are a corporate-originated customer — meaning you came to us directly through our corporate website without a Field Representative's referral link — we do not share your personal information with any Field Representative. A Field Representative may receive anonymized order data (for example, what products were purchased) for commission and business purposes, but not information that identifies you personally.
- If you are a Field Representative-referred customer — meaning you came to us through a Field Representative's referral link or replicated ("replicator") website — we share a limited set of your personal information with your sponsoring Field Representative so they can support you. This is limited to your name, mailing address, phone number, email address, and order information (item, quantity, and price). We do not share your payment or financial information with Field Representatives.
Field Representatives who receive customer information are contractually obligated to protect it. Under the Customer Personal Information Protection amendment (Section 1.9 of our Field Representative Policies), Field Representatives are required to use customer information only for authorized purposes, are prohibited from selling or sharing it, must maintain reasonable safeguards, must destroy customer information upon termination of their agreement, and must cooperate with consumer privacy rights requests.
4Information we collect about customers
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect the following categories of personal information about customers:
- Identifiers and contact information: name, billing and shipping address, email address, telephone number, account username, and, for Field Representative-referred customers, an associated Field Representative ID.
- Order and commercial information: products purchased, order history, quantities, prices, Autoship preferences, returns, and customer service history.
- Payment information: we do not store your full payment card data. Payment card information is collected through and tokenized by our PCI-compliant payment processor. We retain only a token reference, never your full card number.
- Account credentials: login name and password (stored in protected form).
- Communications: the content of emails, contact-form submissions, product reviews, and recorded customer service telephone calls and their transcripts.
- Internet and device activity: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, pages visited, referring/exit pages, and interactions with our website, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
- Inferences and preferences: product interests and communication preferences drawn from the above.
Sources. We collect this information directly from you (for example, when you create an account, place an order, or contact us); automatically from your device as you use our website; and from Field Representatives or their replicated sites when you begin your relationship with us through them.
5Information we collect about Field Representatives
If you apply to become or serve as a Field Representative, we collect additional information necessary to establish and manage that business relationship, including:
- Identifiers and contact information (name, address, email, phone);
- Sensitive personal information: your date of birth and your Social Security number or tax identification number. We collect this information for the limited purpose of identity verification and required tax reporting (including issuing IRS Form 1099). We do not use or disclose this sensitive information for any purpose other than these tax-compliance and business-administration purposes, and we do not use it to infer characteristics about you;
- Banking or payment details necessary to pay commissions;
- Business activity, sales, and commission records.
Field Representative mobile app. We offer a mobile application for Field Representatives only (there is no customer-facing app). If you use the Field Representative app, we may collect account, device, and usage information necessary to operate the app, authenticate you, and provide its features. The same uses, sharing limits, retention practices, and security measures described in this Policy apply to information collected through the app.
6How we use personal information
We use personal information to:
- Process, fulfill, ship, and support your orders, including Autoship;
- Create and maintain your account and provide customer service;
- Process payments and prevent fraud and unauthorized transactions;
- Communicate with you about your orders, products, and (if you have not opted out) marketing;
- Operate, secure, analyze, and improve our website and Services;
- Administer the Field Representative program, calculate commissions, and comply with tax obligations;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms; and
- Detect, investigate, and prevent security incidents and illegal activity.
We limit our collection, use, and retention of personal information to what is reasonably necessary and proportionate for these purposes.
7How we share personal information
We disclose personal information only as described below, and we require the service providers who handle personal information on our behalf to protect it and to use it only to provide services to us. We share information with the following categories of recipients:
- Payment processing (PCI-compliant payment processor; card data tokenized);
- Shipping and logistics carriers (to deliver your orders);
- Tax calculation providers (to calculate applicable sales tax);
- Email service providers (to deliver transactional and marketing email);
- Analytics providers (to understand and improve site performance);
- Advertising providers (to measure the effectiveness of our own advertising; see Section 8);
- Customer review providers (to collect and display product reviews);
- Contact center, telephone (VoIP), and communications providers (to operate customer service);
- Artificial intelligence service providers (to process customer-interaction data as described in Section 11);
- E-commerce platform, hosting, content-delivery, and security providers (to operate and protect our website);
- Incident response and professional advisors (security, legal, and accounting professionals, as needed);
- Sponsoring Field Representatives (only for Field Representative-referred customers, and only the limited information described in Section 3).
We may also disclose personal information: to comply with law, subpoenas, court orders, or legal process; to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; to protect the rights, property, or safety of Life's Abundance, our customers, or others; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case we will continue to protect your information consistent with this Policy.
8We do not sell or "Share" your personal information for advertising
We want to be clear and direct about this:
- We do not sell your personal information for money or other valuable consideration, and we never have.
- We do not "share" your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising (sometimes called targeted or interest-based advertising) as those terms are defined under California and other state laws.
Because we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and because we use sensitive personal information only for the limited, permitted purposes described in this Policy, we are not required to — and do not — provide a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link or a "Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information" link. (California's regulations expressly relieve a business of the obligation to post these links where it does not sell or share personal information and uses sensitive personal information only for permitted purposes.) If our practices ever change, we will update this Policy and provide any legally required opt-out mechanisms before doing so.
9Cookies and tracking technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate our website, remember your preferences, keep your session secure, measure site performance, and understand how our site is used. The categories we use include:
- Strictly necessary / security cookies, including cookies from our content-delivery and security provider, Cloudflare, that help protect the site and keep it running;
- Analytics cookies, including Google Analytics cookies (for example,
_gaand_ga_*), used to understand site usage in an aggregated way; - Conversion-measurement cookies used to measure the performance of our own advertising;
- Functional cookies used by embedded features such as our Trustpilot review widget and Google reCAPTCHA (which helps protect our contact form from spam and abuse).
Our social media buttons are simple links; they do not transmit your information to social platforms unless you click them.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting cookies, though some features of the site may not work properly if you do. For information about how we respond to browser-based privacy signals, see "Global Privacy Control and Do-Not-Track Signals" in Section 18.
10Analytics and advertising
Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use our website. We have configured GA4 in a privacy-protective way: Google Signals is disabled, IP addresses are truncated/anonymized automatically, and we use minimal data-retention settings. In GA4, event-level data is retained for approximately 2 months and user-level data for approximately 14 months. (Under Google's data-retention settings, 14 months is the maximum retention available to standard, non-enterprise GA4 properties, and 2 months is the un-extended default.)
Advertising. We use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure how well our own advertising performs. We do not use this to build cross-context behavioral advertising profiles of you, and we do not disclose your personal information to advertising networks to target you across other companies' websites.
11Artificial intelligence tools
We may use artificial intelligence tools to improve our products, Services, and customer experience — for example, to help analyze the sentiment of customer interactions and improve the quality of our customer service. Some customer-interaction data may be processed by third-party AI service providers on our behalf. Our contracts with these providers prohibit them from using your data to train their AI models. These tools support our team; they do not make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you (see Section 17).
12Email and text messaging (SMS)
Email. We send two types of email: essential/transactional messages (such as order confirmations, shipping and tracking notices, and Autoship reminders) and non-essential marketing messages (such as product announcements and promotions). Every marketing email includes a clear, one-click unsubscribe option, and we process unsubscribe requests automatically and immediately — well within the 10-business-day period allowed under the federal CAN-SPAM Act. You can also unsubscribe by emailing us or calling our toll-free number. Our commercial email practices comply with CAN-SPAM, including honest subject lines and inclusion of our valid physical postal address.
Text messaging (SMS). We do not currently operate an SMS text-messaging program. If we launch one in the future, participation will be voluntary and based on your opt-in consent. At sign-up we will disclose the program details, including that message and data rates may apply, the approximate message frequency, that consent is not a condition of purchase, and how to opt out (for example, by replying STOP). We will operate any SMS program consistent with the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and applicable state law. This section will apply only if and when an SMS program becomes available.
13Social sign-on
We are in the process of enabling the option to create an account or log in using a third-party authentication provider (such as Google or Facebook). If you choose to use social sign-on when it becomes available, the authentication provider will confirm your identity to us and may share basic profile information such as your name, email address, and a unique identifier, in accordance with that provider's own privacy policy and the permissions you grant. We use this information only to create and secure your account. We do not receive your social media password, and using social sign-on does not give us permission to post to your social media accounts.
14Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law. Our retention practices include:
- Order records: retained for 5 years, then deleted.
- Payment data: not stored by Life's Abundance. Card data is tokenized and stored by our PCI-compliant payment processor; tokens associated with archived orders are wiped after 6 months.
- Customer service call recordings: retained for 6 months, then deleted. (Calls include a recording disclosure at the start.)
- Call transcripts (generated from recordings via speech-to-text and which may contain identifying information): retained for up to 18 months for quality assurance, service improvement, and issue resolution, then deleted.
- Website analytics (GA4): event-level data approximately 2 months; user-level data approximately 14 months.
- Field Representative tax and commission records: retained as long as necessary to administer the relationship and to meet tax, accounting, and legal obligations.
Where we cannot fully delete information for technical or legal reasons, we will isolate it and prevent further use.
15Data security
We maintain industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security assessments. Payment card data is handled by a PCI-compliant processor and is tokenized. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work continuously to protect your information.
Breach notification. If a data breach affecting your personal information occurs, we are committed to notifying affected individuals and the appropriate authorities in accordance with applicable law.
16Children's privacy
Our Services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and our website is not directed to children under 13. Consistent with the federal Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), if we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us at [email protected].
17Automated decision-making
We do not use automated decision-making — including profiling — that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you without human involvement. If this ever changes, we will update this Policy and provide any notices and choices required by law.
18Your state privacy rights
A growing number of U.S. states have comprehensive consumer privacy laws. As of the effective date of this Policy, these include California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Iowa, Delaware, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Nebraska, Maryland, Minnesota, Tennessee, Indiana, Kentucky, and Rhode Island. Depending on your state of residence and that state's law, you may have some or all of the rights described below. We extend the core rights below to residents of every state with a comprehensive privacy law, regardless of the specific thresholds in each statute.
Your potential rights:
- Right to know / access: to confirm whether we process your personal information and to obtain a copy of the personal information we hold about you, along with information about the categories of information, sources, purposes, and categories of third parties with whom we disclose it.
- Right to correct: to request that we correct inaccurate personal information about you. (Note: a small number of state laws, such as Iowa's and Utah's, do not currently grant a correction right — Utah adds one effective July 1, 2026 — but we will honor correction requests as a matter of practice.)
- Right to delete: to request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Right to data portability: to obtain a copy of your personal information in a portable, machine-readable format where feasible.
- Right to opt out of sale, "sharing," and targeted advertising: as explained in Section 8, we do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral/targeted advertising, and we do not use profiling for decisions with legal or similarly significant effects, so there is nothing for you to opt out of. You may still contact us with any questions.
- Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information: we use sensitive personal information (such as Field Representatives' Social Security/tax identification numbers) only for the limited, legally permitted purposes described in this Policy and not to infer characteristics about you, so the right to limit does not apply; we nonetheless restrict this information to those purposes.
- Right to non-discrimination: we will not discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights. We will not deny you goods or services, charge you a different price, or provide a different level or quality of service.
- Right to appeal: if we decline to act on your request, you may appeal our decision (see Section 19). Most state laws — including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Nebraska, Iowa, Delaware, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Maryland, and Minnesota — provide an appeal right. (Utah's law does not require an appeal process, but we will still consider appeals from Utah residents.) If we deny your appeal, we will provide you with information on how to contact your state Attorney General to file a complaint.
Additional rights in certain states:
- Oregon and Minnesota residents may request a list of the specific third parties (not just categories) to which we have disclosed personal information.
- Minnesota residents have additional rights relating to profiling; because we do not engage in profiling with legal or similarly significant effects, these rights do not apply to our practices.
- California residents have the rights described above under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act. Because we do not sell or share personal information and use sensitive personal information only for permitted purposes, we do not provide "Do Not Sell or Share" or "Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information" links. Approximately 12% of our customers are California residents.
Sensitive data. Several states require opt-in consent before processing certain sensitive data. We collect sensitive personal information only from Field Representatives (date of birth and Social Security/tax ID) for identity verification and tax reporting, with consent obtained at the point of collection, and we do not sell it.
Global Privacy Control and Do-Not-Track signals. Some browsers and extensions transmit universal opt-out signals such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC), and several states (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon, Delaware, Montana, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Maryland, and Minnesota) require businesses that sell or share personal information to honor them. Because we do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is no sale or sharing for such a signal to stop. We do not currently respond to other "Do Not Track" signals, which have no common industry standard.
Verification and authorized agents. To protect your information, we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before responding to a request to know, correct, or delete (we do not require verification for opt-out requests). You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may require proof of the agent's authorization and verification of your identity.
Response timeframes. We will acknowledge and respond to verifiable requests within the timeframe required by your state's law — generally within 45 days, with one 45-day extension where permitted and reasonably necessary (and with notice to you within the initial period). Some states allow longer; Iowa, for example, allows up to 90 days (the longest baseline window of any U.S. state privacy law), extendable by an additional 45 days. We provide requested information free of charge up to the frequency permitted by law (generally twice per 12-month period), unless a request is manifestly unfounded, excessive, or repetitive.
