Whelping Wonders is a nutrient-dense formula made exclusively for breeding and nursing dams. Gestation and lactation place exceptional demands on a dam's body, so we built this formula specifically around her increased protein, fat, and nutrient needs — from breeding through weaning.
- Energy Support — At 470 kcal per cup, this calorie-dense formula helps meet increased energy demands during gestation and nursing without increasing meal volume
- Muscle Maintenance & Normal Milk Production — 30% crude protein from chicken meal, whitefish meal, and egg product provides essential amino acids to help support tissue maintenance and normal milk production
- Essential Fatty Acids & Sustained Energy — 18% crude fat from coconut oil (MCTs), chicken fat, and fish oil delivers readily available energy and essential fatty acids to help support body condition throughout gestation and nursing
- Digestive Stability — A multi-strain probiotic system (20M CFU/lb) combined with functional fiber helps support digestion and nutrient absorption
- Healthy Skin & Coat — Vitamin E, zinc, selenium, and quality proteins help support the dam's skin and coat condition throughout breeding and nursing
- Formulated with the Litter in Mind — DHA, EPA, choline, and folic acid help support normal development and the nutritional demands of nursing
