Giving Back

The Dr. Jane Foundation supports animals in need and the humans doing the work to save them. Support in the form of financial contributions comes from a mix of Life’s Abundance profits, employee-owner payroll contributions, and customers who donate with their orders. 97% of money raised goes directly to fund animal rescue.

Securing a brighter future for pets and people

Our purpose is to empower people and pets to live healthier, happier lives, so it just feels right for us to give back to groups with the same passion for service and bettering our communities. Just think - each time a rescued pet gets placed in a forever home, both the pet and the people in the home become happier and healthier!

100% Volunteer Run

Our all volunteer board works hard to make sure each dollar is spent wisely. Our only expenses are merchant account fees from taking customer donations by credit card, and tax preparation fees. Life’s Abundance covers all other costs, so you can feel confident that your donation is going directly to a sweet animal in need.

Furry Friends

We’ve supported hundreds of organizations over the years and currently, we’re focusing our efforts locally to fund Furry Friends rescue in Jupiter, Florida. Working with them provides consistent, ongoing support for their mission to place cats and dogs in safe, caring, forever homes. We not only provide financial support, but our employees volunteer to walk dogs, cuddle cats, and even foster. Yep, it’s a great perk of working at Life’s Abundance!

Hope on wheels

A portion of our fundraising helped to launch Furry Friends’ relocation program, which saves animals by safely taking them from overcrowded shelters and areas impacted by hurricanes in Central and South Florida to areas with more space for housing animals in need. The volunteers spend hours on the road rescuing pets and driving them to better chances of finding their next family. This essential service relieves pressure on busy shelters and we’re thankful to be a part of this program’s efforts.
