Chicken meal is the first ingredient in this nutritious cat food recipe. Some foods contain whole chicken or chicken parts, which naturally contain a fair amount of water. We use chicken meal because most of the water has been removed, making it a concentrated source of protein. This means that there is a greater “protein content” in one pound of chicken meal versus one pound of whole chicken or chicken parts.

Turkey Meal
Turkey is a high-quality source of protein. This nutritious food is also a good source of iron, zinc, phosphorus, potassium and B vitamins.

Eggs
Eggs are considered a complete protein source, providing essential amino acids, vitamins and minerals. Eggs also contain healthy fats, such as omega-6 for healthy skin and a glossy coat.

ANTIOXIDANT SYSTEM

Felines naturally produce antioxidants, but it’s a limited amount. That is why we so strongly emphasize the importance of antioxidants. This healthy cat food contains an antioxidant system including guaranteed amounts of vitamins C and E. We’ve even included cranberries which are renowned for their antioxidant properties.

Felines derive significant nutrition from animal based fat sources in their cat food. Some of the nutrients found in animal fats are simply not available in vegetable sources.
